A beautiful Mothers Day!

Firstly, apologies for not posting in a while! We were all struck down with what can only be described as a truly vile bug! It zapped all energy levels as well as making me feel awfully ill so I was pretty useless for several days. We are all feeling much better and I can finally write again! (Hooray)!

I hope you all had a lovely Mothers Day? I think it is a lovely way to say thank you to our Mums for being so wonderful and for always being there. It is nice to show our mums how appreciated they are. A few of my friends have lost their mums and they are always at the forefront of my mind on special days and celebrations. I think our Mothers day celebrations remind us of how important our mums are!

One of my favourite things about Mothering Sunday is receiving lovely home made treats from my little ones. The sheer joy on their faces when they hand you their little treasures makes my heart melt! So thoughtful and kind. I received a beautiful bunch of flowers from my two little ones (thanks Daddy!) and some gorgeous home made cards. We all spent the day together at home as we were too poorly for anything else! Nevertheless it was a lovely family day – my favourite type of day!
