Quote of the day challenge – Day 2

My second day of the Three Day Quote Challenge (thanks Anna) and today I have chosen a quote from one of my all time favourite children’s authors, Dr Seuss! Dr Seuss has written a fantastic range of children’s books, all written brilliantly in a way which children love!

Theodor Seuss Geisel was born in March 1904 and wrote under his pen name Dr Seuss. He started working as an illustrator before writing his first childrens book in 1937 titled “And to Think That I Saw it on Mulberry Street”.  My two children love his (sometimes odd but incredibly endearing) stories and I love how he encourages kids to be themselves and to be individual. Such an important message to try and teach our children.

I love this quote as it holds a message very close to my heart. I feel we should never be scared to say how we feel and this is something I encourage my kids to do to. Never be worried about saying how you feel and always be yourself!

Rules for the challenge

1 – Thank the blogger that nominated you.
2 – Share one new quote on three consecutive days on your blog. They can be from anywhere, anyone, or anything.

Hope you all have a beautiful Saturday!

  1. Thank you for selecting my blog for this challenge, Claire. Your quote was wonderful. Seuss had a wonderfully strange way to be entertaining and to provide great messages for our kids. Thanks again, and I’ll be responding to this challenge soon.
